Check three things first: whether the calculation uses professional ephemerides (here, Swiss Ephemeris), whether the time zone is the one the city had on the date of birth and not today's, and whether the text was written by someone with a name. A site that does not say who wrote it is usually generating the text on the spot.

It depends on what comes written. It is worth it when what you receive is interpretation — someone telling you what that sky means in your life — and it is not worth it when it is the same table of positions any free calculator returns. The Ascendant changes every two hours, so without the time it is an estimate — and the site says so on screen instead of presenting an approximate Ascendant as if it were exact. The time is usually on your birth certificate.
